Andrew Lim joined the worship team in 2007 and has been serving faithfully since then. He received tremendous support from his parents who gave him his first bass guitar.
Under the WAM Training Assistance Program (WAMTAP), Andrew took further lessons in 2007 and attended several in house workshops for focus groups. He has participated in the annual WTR and continues to encourage his peers to use their talents for God’s glory. Read Andrew and his dad’s sharing here.
Andrew will be in Dublin for 2 years to pursue a degree in Medicine and promises to return to Penang. “Part of our role here is to Recruit, Retain and also to ‘Release’ our Worship Team members to serve where God calls them to”, said Daniel Khoo (WAM Chairman) at a simple “send off” held during Service 2 today. “And we look forward to having you back on the team 2 years from now”, he adds.
Together with WAM committees present, Mr Lim Lai Keat (Andrew’s father), Mr Ch’ng Geam Liang (MYF Counsellor) led in a short yet meaningful prayer for Andrew.
