Choral Workshop by Joanna Oo & Grace Notes
There will be a choral workshop with Joanna Oo and the Grace Notes this Saturday (May 29) from 10 am to 4 pm at Bethel, Penang Trinity.
Cost per person is RM 10 for choir members, and RM 20 for non-choir members. Lunch will be provided.
About Grace Notes
Grace Notes began in 2006 when a small group of men and women in Kuala Lumpur had in their hearts a desire to testify in one voice, the goodness of God, the everlasting love and saving grace of Jesus Christ, in music and songs. We are committed to the sharing of God’s love and hope – that by resounding the songs and voices as his little notes, we will bring the one true and principle note, God, to the people and His melody into the hearts of many.

About Joanna
Joanna graduated from Singapore Bible College in 2000 with a degree in Church Music. Upon graduation, she served as Music Director at the Wesley Methodist Church, Kuala Lumpur for 3 years, focusing on the music ministry in general and developing the church choirs. Prior to that, while still a student at SBC, she served for 3 and a half years as choir director at the Yio Chu Kang Chapel, Singapore. In November 2003, conducted the 300 strong choir in conjunction with the 300th Anniversary Celebration of John Wesley. Joanna is currently the conductor for Grace Notes and the 1st KL Girl’s Brigade Handbell Choir.
She and her husband, John now serves with Wycliffe Malaysia. Nevertheless she continues to be active in the Christian community by conducting vocal training classes and numerous cantatas and musicals.
Joanna and John are blessed with 2 children: Kristen, 8 and Kevin 1.
